Screen share chat safety
Current screen sharing support
LoopChatX currently provides browser-based random text chat and video chat. It does not currently provide a built-in screen sharing control. This page explains the safety steps to follow if screen sharing is added in the future or if another participant asks you to share through another service.
Protect everything visible on screen
A shared screen can reveal notifications, passwords, email addresses, private tabs, files, payment details and location clues. Close private windows, disable notifications and share only the specific window you intend to show. Never share one-time codes, banking screens or identity documents.
Stop suspicious conversations
End the chat if a stranger asks you to install remote-access software, open a payment page, reveal a verification code or share confidential material. Use the in-chat report control for scams, harassment, sexual content, threats or exploitation.
